Sway is a lovely example of a quiet but thriving village community, renowned for its friendliness and offering a good range of shops, pubs, restaurants and its own Art Studio. There is a mainline railway station, linking Sway to London in about 90 minutes.

Our local pub, the Hare and Hounds, is very welcoming and serves excellent food; it is only a 5 minute walk around the corner. From Mewstone Cottage you are only a few minutes drive from the sea with 7 miles of sandy beaches stretching from Christchurch and Bournemouth to Poole; there are marinas with yacht chartering available, fishing expeditions and frequent ferry links from Lymington to Yarmouth on the Isle of Wight.
Close by there is Horse Riding, a Golf Course, Bikes to Hire and many Forest Walks. Beaulieu Motor Museum and Bucklers Hard are only a 15 minute drive away, and the beautiful Exbury Gardens and Steam Railway about a 25 minute drive.
